Fulham Road Office Space

Businesses choose to rent office space on Fulham Road due to the wide range of amenities on offer, its iconic institutions, and excellent transport links.

It covers the SW3, SW6, and SW10 postal code areas. It runs from Putney Bridge Road, which is known as Fulham High Street, eastward to Fulham Broadway. It then runs through Chelsea to Brompton Road in Knightsbridge within the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea.

The thoroughfare offers a plethora of amenities, including antique shops, boutiques, designer furnishing stores, coffee shops, cafes and restaurants. The section of Fulham Road nearest the cinema is known as The Beach, and is home to various trendy bars, pubs and clubs.

It is home to several iconic landmarks, including Chelsea Football Club’s ground, Stamford Bridge, the Royal Brompton Hospital, the first Habitat store, opened by Sir Terence Conran in 1964, and just off Fulham Road, on Gilston Road, The Budokwai.

Opened in 1918, it is London’s oldest Japanese martial arts club and was the first judo club in Europe. The world-famous club counts Brad Pitt and Guy Ritchie as past guests.

Fulham Road is also home to Michelin House. The delightfully distinctive building was built in 1911 as the UK headquarters depot of the French tyre company.

An employee of the company was entrusted with the design of the Art Deco building, complete with stained glass windows and tiled surfaces. The company’s mascot, the Michelin Man, or Bibendum, adorned featuring throughout.

Michelin relocated from the building in the mid-1990s, when it was jointly purchased by publisher Paul Hamlyn and the aforementioned designer, Sir Terence Conran, who converted it into offices for Hamlyn’s publishing company, a store for Sir Conran’s designs, a restaurant and a bar.

In the 2020s, ownership changed, and the luxury office space and workspace providers that operate it now offer flexible office space with first-class amenities within the celebrated building.

Businesses and organisations seeking office space to rent on Fulham Road are offered some of London’s most exceptional office space. They can choose from a range of uniquely prestigious period buildings that have been impeccably renovated to provide enhanced contemporary workspaces and modern office buildings.

Along with leased office space, there is a growing number of flexible office space and workspace options, including luxury serviced private offices, managed office suites, and co-working spaces.

In contrast to their leased counterparts, these are held on short-term licences yet offer the option to extend at the end of the term. The flexible contacts also allow a business to expand within a building as needed, with many buildings offering suites and floors with space for 100 desks or more.

Equally, the agile occupational agreements allow a tenant to be nimble and contract into a smaller space as needs dictate.

The added advantage of flexible workspaces is that they are priced all-inclusively, meaning the monthly fee includes rent, utilities, security, service charge, cleaning, enterprise-grade and secure IT systems, furnishings, and more. The rental fee also covers items such as ad hoc boardroom use and services provided by the reception, secretarial, and concierge teams.

The private serviced offices are fully furnished, fitted, and equipped with state-of-the-art business technologies, and clients enjoy the use of 5-star shared amenities, including bookable meeting and boardrooms, breakout spaces, quiet zones, kitchen areas, fitness facilities, cafes, and outdoor spaces.

Managed office spaces are ready-fitted, and the client leads the furnishing and fit-out process. Custom offices can include private reception areas, meeting rooms, executive suites, open-plan working areas, hot desking zones, kitchens, and bathrooms, and the client can choose a bespoke service level pack.

The high-end office spaces on Fulham Road are managed sustainably and offer modern end-of-trip facilities such as bicycle storage, showers, and changing rooms for self-powered commuters.

However, Fulham Road offers many public transport options, including services from Fulham Broadway, Gloucester Road and South Kensington stations.
